Bicolor Flags

Flags divided into two equal horizontal or vertical bands derived from medieval heraldic liveries and royal standards, such as Monaco, Indonesia, and Poland.

Because a two-stripe geometry has limited permutations, aspect ratio (4:5 vs 2:3 vs 5:8) and top-to-bottom stripe order (red-over-white vs white-over-red) are critical for identification.
